The SA Nationals and Grandmasters will be organised by Western Cape this year. 
The venue for both tournaments will be the Pinelands Library.
The SA Nationals will be held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th April at 8h30 for
8h45. The format will be a 16 round swiss with three KOH. This tournament is
open to the first 40 people who book and pay. Cost is R 250 per person including
lunch and teas.
The SA Grandmasters is restricted to the top 10 available rated players(SA
Residents) at the end of March (over 50 games) and will be a double round robin
(18 games)held on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th April at 8h30 for 8h45. Cost is R
150 per person including lunch and teas.
It should be noted that potential representatives for South Africa in the next
World Championship to be held in 2011 will have to play in the
Nationals/Grandmasters or Collins Cup in 2010 and Nationals/Grandmasters in
2011.

The Scrabblesa AGM will be held on Saturday 24th April during the lunch break.
