We have organised another Scrabble Weekend in the Drakensberg from 14th-16th May
2010. Thanks to Rosemary Tod for securing exceptional rates as low as R 1000 per
person fully inclusive sharing for the weekend. We have provisionally booked 20
rooms but a deposit of R 1000 per room is required by 31st March. It is possible
to stay for extra days either side of the weekend at these same rates.Please
book directly with Karl. The entrance fee for the tournament will be R150 per
person for ScrabbleSa members and R 200 per person for non-members.

We are confident that you will enjoy our lovely resort, set in the scenic
majesty of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site.
Subject to availability and receipt of deposit, we can offer accommodation for
the above-mentioned
period for around 40 people in Garden Rooms at the very special rate of R500 per
person sharing, per night and in Mountain View Rooms with TV and Premier Garden
Rooms at the very special rate of R560 per person sharing per night.
Rates for children are as follows:
2-5 years R120 per child per night
6-8 years R180 per child per night
9-11 years R300 per child per night
Tariffs are fully inclusive of all three meals, mid-morning and afternoon
tea/coffee and VAT.
Included in the rate is the use of our conference venue for your event, with a
tea & coffee station available.
Rooms are only reserved and allocated once we have received a deposit of R1000
per room, and are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Garden Rondavels are cosy, round and thatched units set individually in
magnificent gardens. Mountain View Units have their own private veranda with
spectacular views of the Drakensberg. Premier Garden Rondavels have extra
finishes like a ceiling fan, electric u/c heating and heated towel-racks etc.
All units are neatly appointed, cosy and comfortable with bath/shower and toilet
en-suite, radio, telephone and coffee/tea making facility. Not all of the rooms
have TV.
We serve three carefully selected meals of tasty country cooking, with full
hearty breakfasts, light lunches and six course dinners. We do not cater
specifically for Halaal, Vegetarian, Kosher or any specialized diets, but we
offer enough to choose from at every meal, nutritious and wholesome.

To confirm this reservation we do require a deposit payment of R1000 per room by
the 31st March 2010. This can be done by supplying us with your credit card
details (including the last 3 digits on the reverse side of the card plus the
expiry date) or by direct bank transfer and faxing a copy of the deposit slip to
036 468-1390. Please note that deposits are non refundable. All guest accounts
are to be settled prior to departure with cash or a credit card, as we do not
accept cheques.
Guests are liable for the full period booked. Deposits are non-refundable.
